  • Transaction details: information needed to complete a purchase or sale, such as driver's license, title and registration documents, payoff information, and payment details.

  • Communications: messages, texts, and emails you exchange with us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and time on the Site.

  • Cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising pixels (for example, Google and Meta), used to measure the Site's performance and our advertising.

Information from others

  • Vehicle history and valuation providers (for example, VIN decoding, history reports, and market pricing tools).

  • Lienholders or lenders, when you authorize us to obtain a payoff.

3. Text Messaging (SMS)

How you opt in: You opt in to text messages from Slipstream Autos LLC by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our website forms (such as slipstream.autos/sell), or by texting us first.

What we send: Messages about your vehicle inquiry, offers on your vehicle, appointment scheduling and reminders, and updates on your purchase or sale. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that operate on our behalf, such as our CRM and messaging platform, website hosting, analytics, payment processing, and vehicle history or valuation providers.

  • Transaction parties, such as lienholders, lenders, title and registration agencies (including the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles), transport companies, and auctions or wholesale buyers when necessary to complete a transaction.

  • Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Slipstream, our customers, or others.

  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

  • With your consent or at your direction.

5. Cookies and Advertising

We and our advertising partners use cookies and pixels to understand how visitors use the Site and to show relevant ads on other sites and platforms. We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping requirements that apply to motor vehicle dealers. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • Marketing: Reply STOP to texts, or use the unsubscribe link in emails.

  • Access, correction, and deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us below. We may need to verify your identity and may keep information we are legally required to retain.

  • Texas residents: Depending on applicability, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act may give you rights to confirm, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. You may appeal a denial by replying to our decision; if your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of slipstream.autos (the "Site") and the services offered by Slipstream Autos LLC ("Slipstream," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use our services, and you must be the legal owner of any vehicle you offer to sell us or be authorized by the owner to sell it.

2. Vehicle Offers

  • Offers are estimates until inspection. Any offer, quote, or valuation we give before inspecting the vehicle and reviewing its title and history is preliminary and not binding. The final price depends on in-person inspection and verification of condition, mileage, title, liens, and history.

  • Accuracy of information. You agree that all information you provide about your vehicle is accurate and complete. We may revise or withdraw an offer if the vehicle or its paperwork differs from what was described, including undisclosed damage, mechanical issues, modifications, title brands, or liens.

  • No obligation. Submitting your vehicle does not obligate you to sell it or us to buy it. A sale is binding only when both parties sign the purchase documents.

  • Offer expiration. Offers expire on the date stated, or after 7 days if no date is stated.

  • Title and liens. You must provide a clear, transferable title or authorize us to pay off any lien. If the payoff exceeds the purchase price, you are responsible for the difference before the sale can close.

3. Vehicles We Sell

  • Listings. We try to describe vehicles accurately, but listings, photos, prices, and availability may contain errors and may change without notice. Vehicles are subject to prior sale.

  • Price. Advertised prices exclude tax, title, license, registration, and any dealer documentary fee, unless stated otherwise.

  • Warranty. Unless a written warranty is provided in your purchase documents, vehicles are sold "AS IS – NO DEALER WARRANTY" as disclosed on the FTC Buyers Guide displayed on the vehicle. Any remaining manufacturer warranty is provided by the manufacturer, not by us.

  • Purchase documents control. If these Terms conflict with a signed purchase or sale agreement, the signed agreement controls.

4. Communications and Text Messages

SMS Program Description. Slipstream Autos LLC operates a text messaging program for people who ask us to buy or sell a vehicle. When you enter your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on our website forms (such as slipstream.autos/sell), or text us first, you agree to receive text messages from Slipstream Autos LLC. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or sale.

Messaging use cases. We text you about:

  • Your vehicle inquiry and follow-up questions about your vehicle

  • Offers on your vehicle

  • Appointment scheduling, inspections, and reminders

  • Updates on your purchase or sale, including title and payment status

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your inquiry.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out. Text STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further texts from us. To rejoin, text START.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and photos, are owned by or licensed to Slipstream and protected by law. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. By submitting photos or other content of your vehicle, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to evaluate, market, and sell the vehicle.

7. Third-Party Services

The Site may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, vehicle history reports and financing providers). We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SITE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT ANY WARRANTY PROVIDED IN WRITING IN A SIGNED PURCHASE AGREEMENT OR ANY RIGHT YOU HAVE UNDER LAW THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLIPSTREAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO $100. THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING THE TEXAS DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES ACT WHERE IT APPLIES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Slipstream harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your submission of false information about a vehicle.

11. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept them.
